The Foundation's Faith in Action: Replication of The Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Program was designed to help support the establishment of approximately 1,100 interfaith volunteer caregiver projects for all ages with chronic health conditions.This program will develop a coalition of community religious congregations that will organize and train volunteers to provide services for people with a wide range of chronic conditions. Such services include companionship and assistance with transportation, shopping, personal care, and chores, as well as referrals to other relevant community services. The project will serve people of all ages and faiths with chronic health conditions of all kinds and link with other community organizations to match services with individual needs.
