Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Building the Evidence Base for Public Health Accreditation and Quality Improvement program
The purpose of this project is to provide resources for local health departments (LHDs) to evaluate recently completed quality improvement (QI) efforts or to design and implement an evaluation component to a current or proposed QI project. This grant provides technical assistance and direction for the project.While many LHDs are introducing or enhancing QI capabilities, there is very little evaluation of these efforts because LHDs frequently do not have the resources or expertise to evaluate their QI efforts. Furthermore, it is often a challenge to identify appropriate data sources to evaluate outcomes and health status indicators at the local level.
