The Foundation's Program to Improve Cooperation Among Federal, State, and Local Leaders When Responding to National and Man-Made Disasters was designed to prepare senior leaders across the multiple sectors to work effectively and collaboratively in the event of a national public health emergency.This contract supports evaluation activities for the Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness. This evaluation will complement the short- and intermediate-term evaluation activities currently under way. Macro International will conduct seven case studies, field a long-term survey of meta-leadership participants from 17 sites, and conduct cross-site analyses of survey results. Macro International will work with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and its other meta-leadership partners to identify case study sites and develop the protocols for the case study and the long-term survey. Macro International will subcontract with Nicole Lezin, consultant, to help shape and conduct these evaluation activities. Deliverables will include: (1) the seven case studies; (2) a long-term survey of participants that attended 17 sites; (3) cross-site analyses of survey results, and (4) a final report on the evaluation activities and findings.
