Supporting a collaborative research team to evaluate the Green House Project
This project will establish a coordinating center to support a collaborative research team to evaluate the Green House Project. Investigators from various disciplines (economics, nursing, social sciences, statistics) will conduct the evaluation under several administratively separate, but substantively and methodologically coordinated, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grants. The coordinating center's purpose is to foster the collaborative research team's potential creativity and ensure a coherent evaluation that satisfies the Foundation's goal of providing information on the implementation and impact of the Green House model of long-term care. The coordinating center will provide leadership and coordinate the evaluation's substantive and infrastructural components; design and maintain a study-sample database for the evaluation; and collaborate on specific analyses. Deliverables will be linked to the activities of the rest of the research collaborative and will include facilitating presentations and writing journal articles and briefs useful for a policy audience.
