Replicating scalable innovations in health care from around the world

This project will source and vet scalable health innovations from around the world that have the potential to work in the United States. To accomplish this, Changemakers, an initiative of Ashoka, will conduct an online, collaborative competition to tap into Ashoka's global network of social entrepreneurs to find innovations in health and health care. As part of the competition, Changemakers will: (1) design the competition's scope and strategy; (2) run the competition on Changemakers.com; and (3) work with the winners to better understand their innovations and outline what is necessary for their ideas to travel to the United States. Deliverables will include a demand analysis to gauge interest in potential innovations, a portfolio of ideas, an analysis of those ideas, and recommendations on potential investment-worthy projects.
