On Wednesday, September 28, 2011 the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas hosted a symposium in Houston that convened leaders from community and economic development organizations, government, financial institutions, foundations, nonprofits and private-sector organizations to explore how the billions of dollars spent each year on community development can help make the places where we live, learn, work and play healthier. This is the fifth such event resulting from the ongoing innovative partnership between the Foundation and the Federal Reserve System.
