This presentation provides a brief overview of public health services research (PHSR). The presenters discuss Examining Local Health Department Resources and Systems for Seniors (ELDHRS) survey design as a potential model for complex public health system evaluations, and describe the key elements for designing a health-outcomes and determinants of health based evaluation for public health system delivery of priority senior health services.
