Summer Medical and Dental Education Program

National Program

To develop and implement a six-week academic enrichment program for undergraduates from minority groups, rural areas, and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine or dentistry.

Communities Creating Healthy Environments: Improving Access to Healthy Foods and Safe Places to Play in Communities of Color

National Program

To build state and national momentum to reverse the epidemic of childhood obesity through strategic investment in those communities most affected.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Careers in Nursing

National Program

To address the nursing shortage by funding scholarships for accelerated bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing, with preference given to schools that increase the number of students in these programs.
