Quality of Care

Americans receive only about half of the recommended care they should receive. Adopting quality improvement strategies, reducing racial and ethnic disparities in care, and changing how care is delivered at the local level can improve the care all Americans receive.

Aligning Forces for Quality

Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) is the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s signature effort to lift the overall quality of health care in targeted communities, reduce racial and ethnic disparities and provide models for national reform.
