Nurses play a significant role in health care reform. The Initiative on the Future of Nursing, a new partnership of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Institute of Medicine, aims to create a blueprint for action over the coming years to outline nursing’s critical role in delivering the care at the front lines of a redesigned system. This editorial invites nurses to participate in the debate by sharing their innovative reform ideas with the initiative.
