Catherine Malone, M.B.A., joined the Foundation in June 2004 as a program associate for the Nursing Team. Prior to joining the Foundation, she was the activities director of the Transitional Care Unit at St. Peter's University Hospital and the senior health coordinator for The Club at Woodbridge.

Malone has worked in similar recreation positions in long-term care facilities as well as an assisted living community. She previously held positions of activities director for Heritage at Clara Barton Assisted Living Community and director of therapeutic recreation for the Elizabeth General Medical Center Brother Bonaventure Extended Care Center. Her responsibilities included management of the recreation department, and coordination of volunteer services and community integration programs for the residents of these facilities.

Malone received an M.B.A. from Georgian Court University and a B.A. in psychology and sociology from Rutgers University.
